With hands-on experience as an apprentice mechanic and a lifelong love of all things automotive, Lyel has spent years learning not just how cars work—but how to explain them in a way that actually makes sense. What started as helping friends and family understand their vehicles has grown into a purpose-driven business focused on education, confidence, and independence.

Car Confidence exists to bridge the gap between drivers and mechanics—removing the overwhelm, the confusion, and the fear that so many people feel when it comes to their cars. Through practical, easy-to-understand workshops, Lyel empowers everyday drivers with real knowledge they can use—whether it’s understanding warning signs, basic maintenance, or knowing when something isn’t right.
